Programs and classes designed to restore and empower our residents are a daily part of life at Ground Zero Rescue. A few of such programs include:
- Pastor Mary Shelnutt conducts the Center of Wisdom & Knowledge courses each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. During this course, residents are taught to design a life plan through hearing, understanding and applying God's word as a guide.
- Residents attend church services every Wednesday evening.
- Devotionals for residents are held each morning at Ground Zero Rescue's shelter facilities located in Enterprise, Alabama. These devotionals are conducted by Ground Zero's Resident Managers or an outside volunteer in the ministry.
- Ground Zero Rescue's residents are required to attend Sunday services and special events at local area churches each week. Transportation is provided by our staff, partners and volunteers.
In addition to the regularly scheduled events outlined above, development in every area of the lives of our residents are a daily part of living at Ground Zero Rescue. Residents participate in individual and group sessions. We are continually adding programs and appreciate your financial support or partnership if you are moved to help us in this area.
